Kelly Kiley was here this weekend, which was really nice. No matter how long it's been since we've seen each other (and it had been a long time!) we always manage to pick up right where we left off :)
We showed Kelly some sights and then let her venture out on her own. Poppy's not a very good tourist and the tourist destinations are not buggy friendly (so many stairs) so we skipped the big ones. Today we had birthday brunch before we sent her off to Amsterdam to meet that gorgeous niece of hers. It was a short but sweet visit. I was really rubbish at taking photos so hopefully Kelly took some! This is the only one I have ..
Poppy went to nursery today so Mat and I could go out for fancy lunch for my birthday. We went to the restaurant in the top of the walkie talkie building in the city (also known as 20 Fenchurch Street - the building on the left of the photo). 
There is a sky garden and an incredible view of London. Our food was really good and it was a nice relaxing way to ring in my 27th year of life.
And we'll finish this post off with an awkward family photo in front of Big Ben - honestly could Poppy look more uncomfortable?
